For 2005 the Fremont Water plant pumped
131,420,000 gallons of water averaging
360,000 gallons per day. We have two water
towers with a capacity for 300,000 gallons
each, 600,000 total. The water plant has the
capacity to produce 620,000 gallons of water
per day.
We will be going into fall and winter soon.
Now is the time to check heat tapes and to
unhook garden hoses from outside taps before
cold weather. Water leaks use a tremendous
amount of water. Check faucets and toilets
and repair if needed. |
