Water Treatment Plant
In 2009, the Water Department supplied over 90 million gallons of water to customers in Fremont, averaging 247,000 gallons per day. The high demand day was 518,000 gallons and the low demand day was 102,000 gallons.
We have two water
towers with a capacity for 300,000 gallons
each, 600,000 total. The water plant has the capacity to produce 620,000 gallons of water per day.We will be going into fall and winter soon.
Now is the time to check heat tapes and to
unhook garden hoses from outside taps before cold weather. Water leaks use a tremendous
amount of water. Check faucets and toilets
and repair if needed.
